Coming soon…
Here’s a little bit of honesty. . . life was hard while I was pregnant with my son, but it got even harder after he was born. It’s been a whole year since I had him, and I marvel at how much has happened since then.
Looking back, I quickly published Running Risk right after he was born because it was practically done before I had him. Then I was onto other books. I started a book. . . had to rewrite it because it wasn’t working. Got almost to 10,000 words and felt like I wasn’t in the right headspace for it.
Next book. . . started it. Got to over 10k. . . started over. Got to over 20k. . . started over AGAIN. Then I got a new idea, and I couldn’t get it out of my head.
Next book. . . started it. Was LOVING it, but every time I wrote, it felt like I was clawing every last word out. It wasn’t fun. I didn’t look forward to writing, but I got to over 50k! Then I realized it wouldn’t be able to be finished in time (holiday book. . . has to be published a certain time of year).
Went BACK to the last book, and I’ve been writing ever since and having so much fun with it. All of this has happened in the span of a year. I finally feel like it’s flowing more easily. I stay up late writing. While my son has his first nap, I walk on my walking pad and write. With a lot of elbow grease while editing, it’s going to be so cute. I’m sitting at over 55k. It’s getting close.
I have also planned my next several books. I’m talking about the next three years’ worth. HAHA! But it could change. I’ll go where inspiration strikes. Just know, I’m trying. I’ve contacted my amazing editor, and I’m working hard to be able to get it to her in time. My betas are ready, and I’m doing the damn thing!
Thank you for asking when my next book will be because that shows me it’s wanted.
I also already have two covers finished; all they need are the words to put inside. HAHA!
Just know. . . the books are coming!
